As a designer, I’m always keeping an eye on what’s fresh in the scene, especially emerging brands that are doing cool, unexpected things.
Here are four design names that seriously make me say wow.
First up: 6:AM.
If you follow me on social, you already know how obsessed I am with this brand.
Launched in 2018, 6:AM gives a fresh, modern twist to an ancient Italian craft: Murano glass.
Founders Edoardo Pandolfo and Francesco Palù named the brand after the hour when a master glassblower starts working, 6:AM sharp.
They highlight the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and translate it into striking, contemporary forms: lighting, vases, decor, installations, and home pieces.
These two are just getting started, and honestly, I can't wait to see what they do next.

Next: cc-Tapis.
Now listen, I’m not a rug person, but for these rugs? I’d clear my whole floor.
They’re not just space fillers; they’re soft, surreal art pieces.
Since 2011, cc-Tapis has teamed up with creatives from all over the globe to push aesthetic boundaries and reimagine rug-making.
Just to name-drop a little: Patricia Urquiola, Sabine Marcelis… and 50+ more collaborations.
Their production is split between Nepal, India, and Italy, using expert artisans and luxe materials like wool, silk, and linen.

Then there’s NM3.
Take a sheet of metal and make it bold, expressive, and full of personality. Not easy, but NM3 nails it.
Their vibe is strong: industrial, brutalist, raw.
Using only stainless steel, they create ultra-modern pieces with no color or texture, just form, function, and material.
Every product is stripped down, but with the perfect finish to give it edge.
The result? Clean, striking pieces that look good literally anywhere.

And now meet Cimento.
Straight out of Venice, this brand reinvents concrete: lighter, sustainable, and unexpectedly elegant.
Cimento doesn’t just make surfaces, they design tables, seating, bookshelves, lighting, and yes, decorative tiles too.
With bold, sculptural forms and monolithic vibes, every piece mixes innovation with serious design chops.
The rough, raw texture and its imperfections make each object one-of-a-kind.
Cimento proves that when you combine gutsy material with top-tier creatives, you get something seriously cool.
