Italian luxury streetwear brand GCDS and Japanese pop culture icon Sanrio have announced the second installment of their collaborative bakery experience. The GCDS x Hello Kitty Bakery will open at Piccolo Pan in Milan on May 15-16, coinciding with the release of their Spring/Summer 2025 capsule collection.
Located at Via Ausonio 23, the Japanese bakery will undergo a complete transformation to reflect the aesthetic of the new collection. Visitors can expect a fully customized space that merges the visual identities of both brands.
The temporary bakery will offer a selection of themed treats including Hello Kitty mini donuts, mini shokupan with whipped cream, and matcha soft ice cream. A special "Hello Kitty Happy Box" containing exclusive merchandise will also be available.
This activation continues the partnership between the luxury streetwear label and Sanrio, with GCDS reinterpreting Hello Kitty through its contemporary design approach. The Spring/Summer 2025 capsule reimagines the iconic character with the brand's modern perspective.
The pop-up will operate from 9:00 AM until supplies last on both days. Previous collaborations between the brands have attracted significant attention from fashion enthusiasts and pop culture collectors alike.
This limited-time experience represents an intersection of fashion, food, and character design, creating a multisensory retail experience that has become increasingly common in luxury marketing strategies.
