Casawi has always been about people before anything else. We move in a fashion world, but the core of what we do sits far from trends. It grows from real moments shared by real people. Casawi Canvas followed that idea. A simple evening in Milan, built around painting, conversation, and the wish to spend time together without expectations.
The night took shape at Tripstillery. People arrived after work, sat down, and started to paint without waiting for instructions. Brushes moved in different ways. Some slow, some fast, some unsure at first. The room settled into an easy rhythm. There was no pressure to create something impressive. The focus stayed on the act itself.
Anfis guided the workshop with a light touch. He introduced a few basic steps, then encouraged everyone to follow their own instinct.
Casawi Canvas worked because it was unscripted. Nothing was staged. No one tried to impress. People painted how they felt, talked when they wanted, and took breaks without explaining anything. The room had a natural flow.
There were moments that shaped the night. Someone proudly chose the smallest canvas in the room, the size of a drink coaster, and treated it like museum material. And somewhere in between brushstrokes, Anfis admitted he does not like cats, which reminded everyone that perfection is not a requirement to lead a workshop.
The paintings ended up all over the place. Abstract, messy, precise, unfinished. None of that mattered. The point was being in the same room, doing something together. That is what Casawi stands for. Authenticity over perfection. Presence over performance. Real people, real pace.
This is what we want to keep building. Moments where creativity feels open and accessible. Spaces where fashion meets community in a simple and human way. And nights where the Casawi identity becomes visible in the most natural form: people creating something together.
