Japanese label RICE NINE TEN and Montréal design studio JJJJound have unveiled their first joint project: a limited-edition knitted soccer jersey combining vintage aesthetics with contemporary design elements.
The short-sleeved piece features textured tuck pattern construction on both front and back panels, with contrasting off-white detailing on the collar and cuffs reminiscent of traditional team uniforms. Deep burgundy and navy side panels complement the jersey's chocolate brown base.
Designer Shohei Kimura, who leads RICE NINE TEN, has established his brand by blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative approaches. This collaboration continues that philosophy through careful attention to detail, including a hand-embroidered 888 emblem positioned on the left chest and the JJJJound logo placed on the right sleeve. A custom RNT brand label completes the limited release.
The collaborative jersey arrives next week, launching May 22 at 12 p.m. Eastern Time exclusively through JJJJound's website. The companies haven't disclosed pricing or production numbers, but availability will be restricted to limited quantities.
This partnership represents new territory for both brands as they explore the intersection of athletic heritage and contemporary fashion sensibilities in their first collaborative effort.
