- Kith opens its first permanent UK location on Regent Street, part of a broader international expansion
- The two-floor space includes menswear, womenswear, kids' collections, footwear, accessories, and Kith Treats soft-serve bar
- Founder Ronnie Fieg debuts his first independent restaurant, Ronnie's, inspired by New York City dining
Kith has opened its first permanent store in the United Kingdom. The location sits on Regent Street, one of London's most recognized commercial thoroughfares. The space spans two floors and combines retail with dining offerings.
The store marks another step in Kith's expansion beyond the United States. Recent years have seen the brand establish locations in Japan and several major American cities. The London opening follows the same approach as these previous flagships, bringing together multiple product categories under one roof.
The retail floor stocks menswear, womenswear, and children's collections. Footwear and accessories from multiple brands are also available. The store introduces two food concepts to the UK market. Kith Treats, the brand's soft-serve bar, makes its British debut. Founder Ronnie Fieg has also launched Ronnie's, his first standalone restaurant. The dining concept draws inspiration from New York City establishments.
Fieg spoke with BoF about the design process. He noted that attention to detail shaped the final result. "What it boils down to is being able to give a lot of attention to detail in the spaces that we open, and I believe London has received the best of that," Fieg said. The building's historical status influenced design decisions throughout construction.
Ben Porto of Porto Architecture partnered with Kith on the project. The team worked to preserve original architectural elements. A curved windowpane from the 1920s remains intact on the facade. This preservation approach balanced modern retail needs with the structure's heritage.
Interior materials follow the aesthetic Fieg established at other recent flagships. The Chicago store, which opened a year ago, uses similar design principles. White oak joinery appears throughout the London location. An oak herringbone floor covers the retail areas. Multiple marble varieties feature in the finishes. Crystal Tiffany marble, Estremoz marble, and Pentelikon marble each appear in different sections of the store.
The lower level includes a McIntosh audio system. McIntosh, known for high-fidelity audio equipment, collaborated on the installation. Kith describes it as the most advanced sound system in any of its stores. The system adds another layer to the shopping environment.
To accompany the opening, Kith released a London-specific collection. The apparel and accessories line is available both at the physical location and through the brand's online channels. The collection references the city and the store opening.
The Regent Street location represents a commitment to the European market. The store brings Kith's full retail concept to British customers. Previous pop-up appearances in London tested local interest. This permanent space confirms the brand's intention to maintain a long-term presence in the city.
The opening also reflects broader changes in retail strategy. Physical stores remain central to Kith's approach despite the growth of online shopping. Each flagship serves as a brand showcase, combining product displays with experiential elements like dining. The model has worked across different markets, from Tokyo to Chicago to now London.
Fieg's vision for Kith extends beyond traditional streetwear boundaries. The inclusion of a restaurant at this location shows how the brand positions itself as a lifestyle concept rather than just a clothing retailer. Ronnie's adds a new dimension to what customers encounter when they visit a Kith store.
The Regent Street address places Kith among other international brands on one of London's premier shopping streets. The location benefits from high foot traffic and strong visibility. For visitors to London and local customers alike, the store becomes a destination that combines shopping with dining.
