Spike Lee, born in Atlanta in 1957 and raised in Brooklyn, stands as one of cinema's most influential figures with a remarkable career spanning directing, producing, writing, and acting.
The acclaimed filmmaker has written and directed more than 30 films over four decades. His extensive body of work includes the seminal "Do the Right Thing", along with "School Daze", "Mo' Better Blues", "Jungle Fever", "Crooklyn", "Summer of Sam", "Chi-Raq", and the Oscar-winning "BlacKkKlansman" (2019). Throughout his career, Lee has tackled complex social and political issues shaping American life, particularly through stories centered on Black experiences, delivered with his distinctive visual and narrative approach.
Supreme has unveiled a new capsule collection honoring the director's cultural impact, created in partnership with 40 Acres & a Mule Filmworks—the production company Lee established with Monty Ross. Beyond feature films, the company has produced various Nike advertisements and Public Enemy's iconic "Fight The Power" music video.
The collection features varsity jackets, baseball jerseys, t-shirts, and co-branded caps that pay special tribute to Lee's powerful biopic "Malcolm X" and his 1995 crime drama "Clockers".
Fans can purchase items from the collection beginning April 24 at 5:00 PM, available in Supreme retail locations and through their online store.
