Theo James and Vittoria Ceretti have stepped into the prestigious roles as the new faces of Dolce&Gabbana's iconic Light Blue fragrances, marking a fresh chapter for the perfume collection that celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
The original campaign, which featured David Gandy and Bianca Balti's memorable love story set against the majestic Faraglioni rocks in the Gulf of Naples, has remained embedded in popular culture since its debut. This Mediterranean-inspired narrative has now been reimagined through the lens of photographer Gordon Von Steiner.
Von Steiner's new advertising campaign captures the dreamlike quality of the original visual storytelling while featuring Ceretti, an acclaimed top model, alongside James, known for his work in film and television. The summer breeze-infused imagery continues the timeless celebration of Italian spirit that has defined the fragrance since its inception.
The renewed focus on Light Blue comes after recent developments in the product line. Approximately two months ago, the brand reintroduced enhanced versions of these Mediterranean-inspired scents, which were originally created to embody the essence of summer days along the Italian coast. Master perfumers Olivier Cresp and Alberto Morillas refined the formulations to deliver a more intense and seductive olfactory experience that now lasts up to sixteen hours.
