Our Legacy Work Shop and Nike are running the “Sport Shop NYC” pop-up from Friday, October 30, to Sunday, November 1, 2026. The event takes place at Procell, a vintage store at 5 Delancey Street in Lower Manhattan. The pop-up coincides with the official launch of the partnership between the Swedish label and Nike. The project centers on a running line due in Spring 2027.
What you find at the Sport Shop NYC pop-up
The pop-up offers collaborative clothing from the Our Legacy Work Shop x Nike Running line. Preview images of the space show apparel and no footwear. The details published so far list no prices or opening hours, so check with the store before you visit.
Brian Procell and Jess Gonsalves opened Procell on Delancey Street in 2012. The store sits on Delancey Street at Bowery in the Lower East Side and sells vintage designer pieces, concert T-shirts and rare hats. The Bowery Ballroom is a short walk away. The pairing places a Stockholm label known for reworking garments in a store stocked with vintage clothing.
Who leads the Our Legacy Work Shop x Nike project
Work Shop is the experimental division of Our Legacy, a Stockholm brand founded in 2005 by Jockum Hallin, Cristopher Nying and Richardos Klarén. The Work Shop concept covers recycled and upcycled pieces and customized items from earlier collections. Work Shop keeps a store and atelier in Stockholm and has moved toward sport before, with a Natura Running capsule and a Work Shop Sport line made from deadstock fabrics. Deadstock refers to unused fabric left over from earlier production.
Past Work Shop partners include Stüssy, Timberland, Dr. Martens and Emporio Armani. Work Shop has also released Chuck 70 designs with Converse, a Nike-owned brand. The Nike Running project is the label’s first direct work with Nike.
The Business of Fashion first reported the partnership. The two companies announced the collection on October 26, 2026, four days before the pop-up opened. Our Legacy co-founder Hallin and Jarrett Reynolds, Nike’s vice president and creative director of energy collaborations, lead the project. Reynolds described the line as built from scratch, with no existing Nike product recolored.
Our Legacy Work Shop also posted a teaser video on Instagram, which turned the Our Legacy yin-yang logo into two Nike Swooshes, according to Sole Retriever. The caption said the brands are exploring sport and creativity together and listed 2027 as the release year.
The line draws on two phrases, “Technology disguised” and “To look slow, but feel fast,” and targets the “all-day athlete.” The design places Nike’s performance technology under Our Legacy’s minimal, deconstructed styling. The multi-category collection includes new footwear designs and technical apparel for men and women.
What comes after the pop-up
Before the full line arrives, the brands plan limited releases using vintage Nike garments and deadstock textiles. No dates are listed for those releases. The approach matches Work Shop’s existing method of reworking earlier garments and fabrics.
The full Our Legacy Work Shop x Nike collection launches in Spring 2027. You will find the line through the direct channels of Our Legacy and Nike and through select retailers. The pop-up at 5 Delancey Street closes on Sunday, November 1, so plan your visit before then.
