Stone Island launches the latest chapter of "COMMUNITY AS A FORM OF RESEARCH", extending its collaboration with community members who share the brand's focus on product design and material innovation.
The autumn/winter 2025 campaign features four international personalities reinterpreting the collection's signature pieces. Actor Alessandro Borghi, creative Chokkan, musician Chy Cartier, and heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk appear in the new imagery.
Photographer David Sims captures the campaign. Max Pearmain handles styling, while Ferdinando Verderi provides creative direction. Hans Ulrich Obrist, artistic director of the Serpentine Gallery, curates the accompanying interviews.
Borghi wears a zip overshirt from the Ghost line, crafted from lightweight wool flannel and nylon. The piece reinterprets camouflage through monochrome design. Chokkan sports a short zip hoodie made from cotton and polyester blend with brushed interior and embroidered Stone Island Marina lettering.
Cartier appears in a polyurethane jacket featuring removable contrast moleskin lining. Usyk wears a hooded parka constructed from piece-dyed cotton ripstop, laminated with fine-grain glossy polyurethane film to create a prismatic effect.
The campaign reinforces Stone Island's approach to community engagement through product exploration. Each participant brings their perspective to the brand's technical garments, demonstrating how the collection functions across different creative contexts.
The project continues Stone Island's practice of involving community members in its campaigns, moving beyond traditional advertising to create collaborative content that highlights both product innovation and cultural diversity.
