Peruvian-born, Los Angeles-based singer and producer A. Chal opened the Italian leg of his CHOLOGANTE World Tour 2026 with a sold-out night at Arci Bellezza in Milan, three days before his date at Monk in Rome. Here is how the show went.

A. Chal played Arci Bellezza in Milan on Monday 2 November 2026, and the show was sold out. CASAWI was in the room: the Peruvian-born singer was half sick and had little voice left, but he still filled the space and kept the crowd going until the very end.

Milan was the first of two Italian dates on A.CHAL's CHOLOGANTE World Tour 2026, with Rome following at Monk on 5 November. The circolo on Via Giovanni Bellezza marked the night as SOLD OUT on its event page.

A. Chal live in Milan: how the Arci Bellezza show went

A. Chal came on stage half sick, with little voice left for a set built on R&B vocals. He played the show anyway. The energy in the room did not drop, and the crowd stayed with him until the last song.

He played for more than an hour. Most of the set came from his most recent material, including CHOLOGANTE, the 2026 single that gives the tour its name.

Who is A. Chal

From Lima to Queens to Los Angeles

A. Chal is the stage name of Alejandro Salazar Pezo. He was born in Lima, Peru, spent his first years there, then grew up in Queens, New York, where he started rapping at 12. He moved to Los Angeles in 2010 and has worked from there since.

Albums, label and collaborations

His debut album, Welcome to Gazi, came out in June 2016 on his own imprint, Gazi World. The mixtape On Gaz followed in 2017, then the EP Exotigaz in 2018, released after he signed with Epic Records. He later returned to Gazi World for the albums Far from Gaz in 2021 and Espíritu in 2024.

Behind the board, he produced Jennifer Lopez's Never Satisfied in 2014. In 2019 he sang alongside Rosalía on Me Traicionaste, recorded for For the Throne, the album of music inspired by HBO's Game of Thrones. He has also appeared on tracks by C. Tangana and Lali, and his single Love N Hennessy got a 2018 remix with 2 Chainz and Nicky Jam.

His most recent releases are the 2026 singles CHOLOGANTE and CHICHAL, and the first gave its name to the tour. The CHOLOGANTE World Tour opened in San Diego on 16 September and crossed the United States before reaching Europe in late October, with dates in Paris, London, Madrid, San Sebastián, Barcelona, Oslo and Berlin ahead of Milan. After Rome, it moves on to Copenhagen on 6 November and closes at Coca-Cola Flow Fest in Mexico City on 29 November.

What the Milan show says about A. Chal's audience in Italy

Arci Bellezza sold out on a Monday night for an artist who has released most of his albums on his own imprint and has never had a major Italian radio hit. The crowd knew the songs well enough to carry the parts his voice could not.
