PUMA has released AC Milan's home jersey for the 2025/26 season, drawing from the club's founding philosophy and Herbert Kilpin's original concept of creating a "team of devils".
The new kit incorporates red flame patterns across the traditional red and black stripes, while the club crest receives a fiery red treatment. This design references Kilpin's famous declaration that the team's "colors will be red like flames and black to invoke fear in our opponents" - words that have defined the Rossoneri identity for more than 125 years.
AC Milan's Chief Commercial Officer Maikel Oettle described the kit as reflecting "the Club's heritage through a design that builds on our traditions while introducing subtle elements of innovation". The jersey continues the design direction established through the partnership with PUMA in recent seasons, according to Oettle.
Marco Mueller, PUMA's Senior Director of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel, stated that the kit aims to "remind everyone of the fear this team can distill in the opposition and ensure the Rossoneri bring the heat from the sidelines".
Two versions of the jersey will be available to consumers. The Authentic version uses PUMA's ULTRAWEAVE fabric technology, designed to reduce weight and friction for professional-level performance. The Replica version maintains the same visual design but offers a more relaxed fit suitable for supporters and casual wear.
Both jersey types include PUMA's dryCELL moisture-wicking system. The Replica jerseys are manufactured using PUMA's RE:FIBRE program, which incorporates 95% recycled textile waste as part of the company's sustainability efforts in football apparel production.
AC Milan will debut the new kit on May 24 during their final Serie A match of the current season against Monza. The jersey becomes available for purchase on May 22 through PUMA's online and retail channels, AC Milan's official stores, and authorized retailers.
