The Italian luxury brand Loro Piana has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection, drawing inspiration from traditional horse riding attire while adapting these elements for everyday wear.
The collection centers on outdoor pieces including hunting jackets, parkas, and quilted liners. Rather than maintaining the historically tight fits of equestrian clothing, Loro Piana has opted for more relaxed, boxier shapes. These are paired with beige jodhpurs or tapered merino wool pants and completed with knee-high boots.
For daily wear, the brand offers bomber jackets, high-neck blazers, and long coats crafted from wool-blend cheviot and suede. These soft materials provide texture to the predominantly brown collection while allowing for easy layering with cardigans and knit polo tops.
The brand has also expanded its formal offerings with pieces suitable for spectating at equestrian events. The classic Spagna jacket has been reimagined as a cape available in two colors, designed to complement the collection's wide-brimmed hats. Three-piece suits and satin jackets round out the options for formal occasions.
To showcase the new line, Loro Piana opened its headquarters during Milan Fashion Week for a presentation highlighting the materials and craftsmanship behind the collection. Additionally, from February 28 to March 1, the brand's Kiosk installation returns to Via dei Giardini, styled as a vintage post office distributing postcards featuring the brand's 1990s advertising campaigns.
