Pas Normal Studios is a cycling apparel label from Copenhagen. Its partnership with Salomon, the French brand known for trail running and mountain sports, has now reached six releases. This latest capsule is aimed at a specific group: cyclists who turn to distance running during the off-season. According to the brands, the collection combines the minimal Scandinavian style of Pas Normal Studios with Salomon’s experience in alpine performance.

Pas Normal Studios co-founder and creative director Karl-Oskar Olsen said the collection is designed for athletes looking for unexplored terrain as the seasons change, where cycling and running meet.

What’s in the Pas Normal Studios Salomon capsule

AERO BLAZE 4 GRVL GORE-TEX

The main piece is the AERO BLAZE 4 GRVL GORE-TEX. Salomon describes it as a running shoe for daily training on mixed surfaces and in changing winter weather. It uses Salomon’s lightweight cushioning and an outsole made to grip on several surfaces. It also has a fully waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. Pas Normal Studios chose the colours. According to the brands, the shoe is meant to work for road and trail running and for everyday wear in the city.

GRAVEL CONCEPT 2 vest

The GRAVEL CONCEPT 2 is a running vest that holds water and gear. The label says it uses Salomon’s know-how on stability, fit and drinking on the move, paired with a minimal Nordic design. The vest is made for daily routes and for longer off-road runs.

S/LAB BELT

The S/LAB BELT is a light running belt for carrying the basics. According to the brand, it holds gear close to the body so it does not bounce while you run. Both the belt and the vest are meant to stay comfortable when you move in cold weather.
