The Italian fashion house's new collection balances playful elements with refined craftsmanship in its latest seasonal offering
Prada's Spring/Summer 2025 accessory campaign presents a study in contrasts, where youthful design meets meticulous attention to detail. The collection explores themes of adolescence and transformation through carefully considered elements that reveal themselves upon closer inspection.
Structured around the concept of proximity, the pieces invite examination. Shirts feature wired hems that add dimension, while leather jackets incorporate unexpected hooded elements. Trench coats in bright hues are fastened with oversized buttons, creating a deliberate sense of dress-up. The collection's tracksuits use neon tones balanced by full-length contrasting zippers, and pants are cut to sit low on the waist. Footwear ranges from understated satin sneakers to substantial oxfords, establishing the collection's tonal range.
Among the collection's notable pieces is a belted tote available in both suede and leather variations. The men's duffel receives an update with an expanded color range, now including canary yellow and turquoise options that reflect the collection's energetic palette. Graphic t-shirts throughout feature work by French impressionist Bernard Buffet, explicitly addressing the collection's underlying theme of transition from youth to adulthood.
The eyewear component introduces an unexpected twist on reflection. Rather than traditional mirrored lenses, these pieces feature printed scenes depicting raves, festivals, and even the runway show itself—creating a meta-commentary on fashion presentation.
The Spring/Summer 2025 collection is currently available for purchase both in Prada retail locations and through the brand's online platform.
