G.H.BASS has teamed up with Woburn Walk by Nepenthes London on the Cobra Wedge Venetian, a men's loafer for Autumn/Winter 2026 that comes in black or wine leather on a Vibram Morflex wedge sole. The GH Bass Nepenthes collaboration is part of the American brand's 150th anniversary programme and is already available online.

The project continues a series of anniversary collaborations in which G.H.BASS reworks its own classics with outside partners. Founded in 1876, the brand has been a reference point in American footwear for 150 years. On the other side is Nepenthes, which, the press release says, reworks wardrobe classics through an alternative, contemporary lens. Woburn Walk by Nepenthes London applies that approach to the G.H.BASS Venetian loafer.

What the G.H.BASS x Nepenthes Cobra Wedge Venetian looks like

The starting point is the Venetian loafer, which Nepenthes London calls the "Cobra Vamp", a style it links to Ivy League dressing. The Cobra Wedge Venetian keeps its clean lines and hand-sewn construction but changes the proportions.

Upper

The upper is polished leather in Black or Wine. The vamp is cut higher and longer than on the standard model, and a brass-coloured metal pin signed by Nepenthes sits on top as the shoe's distinctive detail. The Nepenthes London product page describes the loafer as unlined, with a cushioned insole and a reinforced welt.

Sole

The bigger change is underneath. A Vibram Morflex lug sole with a wedge construction adds volume and raises the profile of the shoe. According to the brand, the sole is light and flexible and absorbs shocks, which moves the loafer from the preppy wardrobe it comes from towards streetwear.
