PUMA and Korean designer JiyongKim have reworked the CELL Geo sneaker with aged fabrics, distressed detailing and frayed laces. The PUMA x JiyongKim CELL Geo launches on November 7, 2026, on PUMA.com, in PUMA flagship stores, at selected PUMA stockists and through JiyongKim’s online store and flagship store in Seoul.

JiyongKim is known for an experimental approach to menswear that often uses sun-faded colors, stains and textures shaped by weather. According to the brand, his design process looks to aging and the natural effects of time, and the collaboration applies that process to a silhouette PUMA describes as futuristic, giving it what the label calls “a distinctly worn-in character”.

For PUMA, the project continues a long line of work with its Sportstyle collections, which the company says are rooted in sports culture. Founded in 1948 and headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Germany, the brand points to one of the strongest archives in the industry, with models such as the Suede and the Speedcat. The CELL Geo is a more recent addition, and this release treats it as raw material for JiyongKim’s material language.

What the PUMA x JiyongKim CELL Geo looks like

The shoe keeps the sculptural form of the original CELL Geo but changes its surface. The upper is built from aged fabrics, with distressed detailing, frayed laces and what the brand calls unique surface treatments. According to PUMA, each element is meant to recall the marks and imperfections that build up naturally over time, setting the shoe’s technical construction against a weathered finish.

The base stays the same. The CELL Geo’s decoupled CELL heel unit gives the sole its geometric structure and cushioning, while fluid cut lines and semi-shrouded laces keep the profile streamlined. The label says the result brings together PUMA’s performance heritage and JiyongKim’s experimental approach to materials, describing the collaboration as “a meeting point between technical innovation, natural processes, and craftsmanship”.
