Carhartt WIP and Nike's new collection includes six apparel pieces and three colorways of the Air Max Goadome Low WIP: Black, British Tan and a Green available only through Carhartt WIP. The Carhartt WIP Nike collection pre-launches on 12 November at select Carhartt WIP stores, on carhartt-wip.com and in the Carhartt WIP App, before a global release from 20 November.

It arrives eight years after the two brands' first collaboration. According to the brands, the shared idea is modern utility, design built for everyday life that brings together Nike's history of performance innovation and Carhartt WIP's contemporary approach.

Carhartt WIP was established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh and builds its own collections on original Carhartt workwear. It opened its first store in London in 1997 and today runs more than 80 stores worldwide, with its own skate team and music department. Since 2010 it has worked with partners including A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Underground Resistance and Motown, and this autumn it also released a capsule with Patta.

What is in the Carhartt WIP x Nike FW26 collection

The garments draw on both archives: Nike's Windrunner jacket on one side, Carhartt WIP's Active Jacket, Drewe Pant and Double Knee Pant on the other. The palette mixes Carhartt WIP's WIP H Brown and Black with Cypress and touches of Fleur de Sel.

Windrunner Active Jacket and Windrunner Drewe Pant

The Windrunner Active Jacket is the main piece. Its mesh lining, contrasting chevron on the chest and toggle fastenings come from Nike's running shell, while the stone-washed Dearborn Canvas, kangaroo pocket and triple stitching come from Carhartt WIP's Active Jacket.

The Windrunner Drewe Pant keeps the relaxed fit of the Drewe Pant and adds elements of the Double Knee Pant: reinforced double-layer knees, a hammer loop and tool pockets. The knee panels are set at an angle that echoes the Windrunner's 26-degree chevron.

The rest of the range covers everyday pieces: a hooded sweatshirt in heavyweight brushed cotton, a graphic T-shirt, a cotton waffle long-sleeve and a stretch-cotton beanie. Some pieces are pigment-dyed, which gives them a worn-in feel and tonal variation across the details.

Air Max Goadome Low WIP

The footwear is the low version of the Goadome boot, reworked by Carhartt WIP. Inspired by the Half Dome, the upper layers durable canvas with suede and leather overlays. Metallic Swoosh details and eyelets contrast with the construction, and Carhartt WIP branding runs along the foxing. The shoe comes in Black, British Tan and Green, with the Green available only through Carhartt WIP.
