Industry sources suggest a third colorway will join the upcoming fragment design x Union LA x Jordan Brand partnership, potentially releasing in early 2026.
According to reports from sneaker insiders SneakerMarketRO and brandon1an, the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Varsity Red/Sport Royal" will follow two previously rumored colorways in this high-profile three-way collaboration. While official images remain unavailable, the insiders claim their mockup closely resembles the planned design.
The sneaker is expected to feature a base of black and white leather panels complemented by varsity red and sport royal blue accents. Sources believe it will incorporate signature elements from both collaborators – the fragment design thunderbolt logo at the heel and Union LA's distinctive mismatched collar construction.
This marks another chapter in what has become an unexpected expansion of the collaboration. Initial rumors of a single partnership model emerged last year, followed by a second black and white version spotted on fragment design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara.
