Google released four new smartphones today during its Made by Google event. The Pixel 10 series includes the standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

All devices run on Google's new Tensor G5 processor. The company says this chip delivers the biggest performance jump in Pixel history. On-device AI processing through Gemini Nano now runs 2.6 times faster while using half the power.

The phones ship with a redesigned Android interface called Material 3 Expressive. Google built new animations and smoother transitions into the operating system.

Standard Pixel 10 Features

The base Pixel 10 costs $799 and includes a 6.3-inch display that reaches 3,000 nits brightness. Google added a metal frame and offers four colors: Obsidian, Frost, Indigo, and Lemongrass.

The camera system includes a 5x telephoto lens, marking the first time Google added this feature to an entry-level Pixel. Super Res Zoom provides up to 20x magnification. The autofocus system responds faster than previous models.

Pro Models Add Premium Features

The Pixel 10 Pro starts at $999 for the 6.3-inch model. The Pixel 10 Pro XL costs $1,199 and features a 6.8-inch screen. Both phones come in Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone, and Jade colors.

Google equipped the Pro models with larger batteries than any previous Pixel phone. Each device includes 16GB of RAM and improved speakers. The camera system captures 50MP photos and supports Pro Res Zoom up to 100x magnification.

These phones support Qi2 wireless charging. Google created new accessories called Pixelsnap to work with this standard.

Foldable Model Targets Durability

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold costs $1,799 and features aerospace-grade aluminum construction. Google redesigned the hinge mechanism without gears to improve durability. The company claims the new hinge lasts twice as long as the previous generation.

Google added IP68 water and dust resistance to the foldable. The company states this represents the first time a foldable phone achieved this rating. Ultra-thin glass and anti-impact film protect the folding screen.

The device comes in Moonstone and Jade colors. Google says the construction allows over 10 years of regular folding.

Availability and Pricing

Pre-orders start today for all models. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL ship August 28. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold arrives October 9.

UK pricing mirrors US costs with the Pixel 10 at £799, Pixel 10 Pro at £999, Pixel 10 Pro XL at £1,199, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold at £1,749.
