Moncler returns to company archives for the 2026 Re/Icons project. The brand updates historical garments through a modern design language. Designers selected four specific models tied to different periods of company history. You will find the Karakorum, Verone, Himalaya and Tibb jackets in this new release. The collection expands beyond outerwear to offer a complete wardrobe for your daily life.

Mountain exploration informs every piece. The 1954 Karakorum jacket represents the clearest link to early alpinism on the second highest mountain on earth. Italian climbers Achille Compagnoni and Lino Lacedelli wore the original gear during their K2 expedition. Designers remade the jacket using a 10-denier micro ripstop fabric. The design retains original elements like removable hoods, drawstrings, snap closures and internal straps. You wear the jacket like a backpack using these straps.

The Verone jacket offers a different aesthetic. This 1980s model defined the Milanese Paninari youth subculture. Jackets shifted from mountain equipment to urban uniform during this decade. The updated Verone maintains an urban feel with a relaxed fit and matte micro-cotton. You choose from pastel pink and lilac colors.

The 2009 Himalaya jacket served as the foundation for later jacket releases. Moncler remakes the Himalaya in a matte cotton-nylon blend. The piece features a drawstring hood and a sleeve logo pocket. The Tibb oversized sleeveless gilet completes the outerwear selection. The vest features boudin quilting, a double zip closure and a metal chest logo. Recycled matte Longue Saison and wool gabardine create a reversible construction.

The Re/Icons 2026 release includes a new publication. Alpine Diary functions as a visual journal filled with black and white photography. The book documents mountain expeditions and provides context for the clothing. The pioneer theme extends through the autumn winter season.
