NBC, the major US commercial broadcaster, has announced Snoop Dogg as their new Olympics ambassador since he has experience commentating on the UFC, NBA, and many more.
He and comedian Kevin Hart hosted a show during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where they humorously commented on sports they knew little about. Despite being the least-watched Olympics in history, with an average of 15.6 million viewers per night across all NBC platforms, their show became a standout success . Meanwhile, according to NBC Sports, the first five days’ total audience delivery of the 2024 Paris Olympics averaged 35 million. The lack of success in Tokyo could be due to various factors considering the 1-year postponement of the last Olympics but possibly it was just missing Snoop D O double G’s presence
Snoop Dogg is not just a rapper and entertainer; he is also a fashion icon from the Hip Hop scene. From his pimp aesthetic with long curly hair and a fur jacket to starring in Gucci's SS22 campaign by Alessandro Michele, Snoop Dogg, and fashion are inseparable.

During the Olympics, Snoop Dogg is seen wearing the Team USA merch with his “S” letter logo embedded and even handing out his custom-made pin to athletes which is not on sale to the public.
The next Olympics will be hosted in Los Angeles, USA where Snoop Dogg has made his name. The hype for Snoop is real, and everyone’s ready for something spectacular since he knows the city like the palm of his hand, and you already know what is legal there.
