UK sportswear label Umbro has launched its third collaboration with music platform Boiler Room, featuring prominent South London artists in a locally-focused campaign.
Photographed by renowned grime documentarian Simon Wheatley, the collection showcases Lewisham talents Novelist, Merky ACE, Renz, Kruz Leone, Chamber45, and MStackz modeling the new designs throughout their home territory.
This latest partnership continues Umbro's recent collaborative streak, following previous projects with atmos and Rainbow Disco Club. The new range centers around a light grey tracksuit with black details, appropriate for Britain's often overcast spring weather.
The collection includes co-branded t-shirts, football jerseys, and distressed hoodies in neutral colors. A black long-sleeve football shirt will be sold exclusively through Boiler Room's channels.
Both Umbro and Boiler Room will release the collection on May 15. This marks their third joint venture, building upon previous successful releases that similarly featured tracksuit-focused designs.
The photoshoot's South London setting establishes authentic connections to the featured artists' backgrounds, with Wheatley's distinctive photographic style capturing the neighborhood's character throughout the campaign imagery.
