Calvin Klein announced on Thursday, October 15, 2026, the departure of Veronica Leoni from her role as Creative Director of Calvin Klein Collection. She leaves when her current contract ends. The company has not given an exit date.
Leoni joined the American house in May 2024. She presented her first collection at New York Fashion Week in February 2025, which returned Collection to the runway after a pause following Raf Simons’s exit in 2018. She showed four seasons in total. Her last show, for Spring 2027, took place in September 2026.
Before Calvin Klein, Leoni worked at Jil Sander, Céline, Moncler and The Row. She also founded the label Quira and reached the 2023 LVMH Prize finals. At Calvin Klein she became the first woman to hold the creative director title at the house. Her remit covered men’s and women’s apparel, underwear and accessories within Collection.
She worked with the minimal, sensual codes long tied to the brand. Marie Claire UK described her 63-look debut as built on neutral colors and sharp tailoring, with outerwear as the standout. W Magazine reported her first season took time to settle, and described her Spring 2027 collection as more assured.
David Savman, Global Brand President of Calvin Klein, thanked her in a statement. “The relaunch of Collection was a key step for Calvin Klein, and Veronica’s extraordinary talent, together with her innovative approach to the brand’s iconic style codes, helped give new momentum to the project.”
Calvin Klein has not named a successor. The company will announce the new creative direction of Collection at a later date. The company also said Collection stays part of the brand’s long-term strategy.
