This capsule celebrates the 50th anniversary of Birkenstock's Boston clog, original design launched in 1976. The project focuses on the theme of Thread, bringing structural revisions and detailed stitching to the classic silhouette. You receive two new models from this joint project: the Boston Cap and the Boston Flap.

Both models build on Birkenstock's signature anatomical cork-latex footbed, maintaining original ergonomic support for your feet. You receive four total color choices across the entire release. The project falls under the premium Birkenstock 1774 line, which handles specialized footwear partnerships for the German footwear manufacturer.

The Boston Flap changes the profile through an exaggerated upper flap structure across the top. White whipstitch embroidery secures the flap in position over the front suede. You choose between ADERERROR's signature Ultra Blue suede or a warm Honey tone for your pair.

The Boston Cap offers a different construction built with a dual-layer leather upper. A prominent leather toe cap adds a functional element to the shoes. Color options for the Boston Cap include Black and Camel leather.

Custom design details appear across both models. ADERERROR adds signature zigzag embroidery along the side panels, serving as a visual marker for the partnership. Tactile stitch accents decorate the leather and suede uppers throughout the footwear. Each pair includes custom packaging designed for this release. The shoe box features joint branding alongside thematic artwork.

This release follows the initial 2022 partnership between both labels. Four years after their debut project featuring the Arizona, Milano, Gizeh, and A630 PU models, the duo expands their shared design direction with specialized iterations under Birkenstock 1774.
