Annet Aleks has become one of the most recognizable faces on TikTok and Instagram, known for her playful “notes” videos that blur the line between humor, seduction, and social experiment.

Her rise feels instant, but it comes from years of crafting how people flirt, connect, and communicate. Before Berlin, Annet was already famous in Ukraine, working as a dating expert who mixed self-awareness with sharp humor. Today, she’s rewriting what modern flirting looks like: confident, ironic, and very public.

At Casawi, we spoke with her to understand what hides behind the wink, the note, and the millions of views.

Can you tell us, who is Annet Aleks?
Annet is the anti social anxiety girl. And that’s the most important. My personal brand is built around dating and relationships, so this “notes” trend was only a matter of time for me. I used to be a well-known dating expert with a lot of experience in this field, and I’m never afraid to show my true self. My mission is to inspire women to be confident, authentic, and brave. To understand that it’s more about choosing rather than being chosen. And of course, I want to show that when women and men spread positivity toward each other, it becomes much easier to build something real between them.

You were already a public figure in Ukraine before Berlin. How did that first chapter influence your creativity and sense of self?
As I mentioned before, I used to be a dating coach and influencer. I focused more on sharing my own stories, life hacks, and tips on how to date safely. I’ve created a lot of comedy sketches in the past, but I had never started a trend — until the “notes trend”, which has now gone viral and is being recreated by people all around the world.

Your videos mix confidence, irony, and flirtation. How did this style begin, and what made you decide to share it with the world?
I wanted to continue my dating journey and create something that reflects the dynamic between women and men. I also wanted my TikTok content to match the vibe of my Instagram. It was very important for me to come up with an idea that everyone could understand, no matter where they’re from. I once saw a guy giving out motivational notes to people, but to me, it felt a bit boring. I decided to focus more on men and make it something a little spicy and flirty. I posted my first video, and it instantly went viral with over 2 million views. That’s when I knew I was on the right path.

Living in Berlin, do you feel the city’s energy shaped your approach to content or the way you see yourself as an artist?
Berlin is full of open-minded, beautiful, and stylish people. But on the other hand, there’s a big challenge: you’re not allowed to film strangers without their permission. I usually try to approach cheerful guys to avoid any unpleasant situations. However, once a guy whose video reached 11 million views demanded that I either pay him or delete it. So I had to hide the video from the public.

When you post a video, do you think about how people will react, or do you follow instinct?
Sometimes I approach people with misspelled or overly flirty notes just to see how they’ll react. Other times, I make crazier videos, like the one where I started eating strangers’ food. The hype is always fun, but for me, the main focus is spreading a positive vibe. I think that’s what my audience loves the most. They often tell me that I bring love and good energy into their day. And honestly, that’s the most important thing for me.

Her next chapter is about evolution and a bit of trouble. Annet plans to push her “notes” universe further, from random street flirts to staged dates, surprise kisses, and uniformed men who look straight out of a fantasy. She’s turning what started as harmless fun into a creative playground where charm meets chaos.

What makes Annet impossible to ignore is how she turns confidence into a kind of humor. Each note, each smirk, each eye roll feels like a small rebellion against the idea that flirting should be subtle. She doesn’t wait to be chosen, she chooses, smiles, and moves on. And that’s exactly why everyone keeps watching.
