You step inside Apple Music Hall, located within Battersea Power Station along the River Thames. The 600-capacity venue sits inside Apple’s 500,000-square-foot UK headquarters complex. Built as a live hall and recording studio, artists perform sets, capture multitrack audio, and stream video from a single room. A 38-foot-wide stage adjusts between traditional layouts and setups in the round. You hear spatial audio mixes delivered through 48 speakers arrayed around the audience.

Behind the stage, two mixing suites process multitrack recordings during live performances. A central broadcast control room links to 16 hardwired camera lines. The system records traditional broadcast footage alongside parallel mobile video captured on iPhones. Musicians finish a set and immediately leave with completed surround audio recordings, live camera mixes, and global broadcast streams. Apple Music Radio hosts also moved operations to new broadcasting rooms built inside the same London complex.

Engineers designed the room acoustics specifically for spatial sound capture rather than standard stereo reinforcement. While traditional venues push sound forward from front stage arrays, this venue surrounds your position with audio drivers placed at multiple elevations. The setup allows artists to test live spatial mixing directly in front of an audience. Live performances stream across global platforms, extending show access to listeners outside London.

The architecture keeps original building details, including exposed brickwork, fluted arches, and bronze balconies. A glass wall offers views across the main concourse toward the river. You find the venue directly on the ground level near the retail store. The site unifies corporate offices, retail spaces, studio broadcasting, and concert halls under one roof.

The location expansion follows company studio investments across Europe, five years after opening production facilities in Paris. At Battersea, artists move between radio interviews, live shows, and studio mixing without leaving the building. Tickets for scheduled performances release through applemusichall.com. You track show dates and access reservation details directly through those channels.
