Titled "Decoding Palm Culture" and published by Rizzoli, this anniversary edition builds upon the foundation laid by Ragazzi's 2014 work, which featured a preface by Pharrell Williams and evocative images of the Los Angeles skateboarding scene.
Curated by Stefano Tonchi, this coffee table book presents a portfolio of 50 previously unpublished photographs. It also includes an essay penned by Ragazzi himself, alongside contributions from Luca Scarlini, Emanuele Coccia, and Giovanni Aloi. These texts delve into the artistic and cultural resonance of the palm as a symbol of refuge, aspiration, beauty, and fulfillment.
The book's release coincides with Milan Fashion Week, and to mark the occasion, an exhibition is being held in a former military space on Via Vincenzo Monti. Here, the photographs will be displayed as large-format prints and silk-screened onto special panels with silver-leaf bases, offering viewers a unique perspective on Ragazzi's visual narrative.
The celebration culminates in a party featuring an international lineup of DJs, including Chloe Caillet, Prospa, and Simone de Kunovich, promising an evening that blends visual art, literature, and music in true Palm Angels style.

This new publication not only commemorates a decade of Palm Angels but also serves as a testament to the brand's evolution and its continued influence in the realms of fashion, art, and culture. Through "Decoding Palm Culture," Ragazzi invites readers to explore the multifaceted symbolism of the palm and its enduring impact on contemporary aesthetics and lifestyle.
