The campaign for the JW Anderson x UGG collection was shot by photography duo Tanya and Zhenya Posternak, who placed model and actor Kaia Gerber and musician Dev Hynes in a series of quiet interiors built around everyday domestic routines. The collection it promotes is already on sale in JW Anderson stores and on the label's online store.

The JW Anderson x UGG collaboration

The footwear line launched on 15 October through the official websites of both brands, physical stores and selected retailers worldwide. For it, Jonathan Anderson reworked two existing UGG models, changing their proportions and construction, with rounded toes, geometric stitching and shapes based on the traditional moccasin.

"UGG boots are instantly recognizable and I was interested in looking at something so familiar through the JW Anderson vision", Anderson said at the launch. "For me, collaborating means experimenting, putting two distinct creative identities in dialogue and discovering where this encounter might lead us. At JW Anderson we have explored the moccasin deeply, not only as footwear, but also through the details, reinterpreted on bags and ready-to-wear garments. I wanted to find out how this language would translate into the UGG world."

Kaia Gerber and Dev Hynes in the campaign

The new images follow Jonathan Anderson's habit of casting people from different creative fields. Gerber works across fashion and acting, while Hynes, the musician and producer behind Blood Orange, already appeared in the first footwear images in October. Earlier this year, Dev Hynes styled and art directed a Levi's Spring/Summer 2026 campaign shot in Los Angeles by Katharina Korbjuhn.

Next to the UGG shoes, the pair wear pieces from the latest JW Anderson collection: graphic argyle jumpers, structured leather jackets and the brand's twisted seam jeans. That denim had its own campaign in September, when the label presented Twisted Denim with Dree Hemingway and Nick Delli Santi: unisex jeans made in Japan from Japanese cotton, with a front panel that rotates around the leg and side seams that follow the same direction.

The photographs are set in quiet interiors, and the label says they look at where relaxed daily life meets more considered dressing. The footwear and ready-to-wear are shown inside lived-in rooms rather than in a studio.

Who worked on the JW Anderson x UGG campaign

Jonathan Anderson handled creative direction. Styling was by Benjamin Bruno, a frequent collaborator of the designer, with set design by Julia Wagner. Hos Hounkpatin did the hair, Jamal Scott the make-up and Yukie Miyaka the nails, while Studio Boum produced the shoot.
