The fourth The North Face x Cecilie Bahnsen collection goes on sale on 5 November on both brands' websites and at selected retailers. It was first shown in March at "Practice", Bahnsen's Fall/Winter 2026 show in Paris, and covers outerwear, footwear and bags in midnight blue and black, led by a reworked Nuptse Short Jacket.
The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen, four collections in
The partnership between The North Face and the Copenhagen designer started with a Spring/Summer 2025 capsule, first presented at Paris Fashion Week in September 2024. That collection reworked the Mountain Jacket, the Base Camp Duffel and the Glenclyffe Boot with 3D floral embroidery, and its campaign was shot in Fontainebleau with climbers Brooke Raboutou, Molly Thompson-Smith and Solenne Piret.
The new chapter keeps the same approach: silhouettes from the American brand's archive are reinterpreted through the Danish designer's feminine point of view, with sculptural lines, technical materials and floral embroidery. Outside The North Face, Cecilie Bahnsen has applied her floral details to military bombers with Alpha Industries in January 2026 and to running shoes with ASICS.
What's in The North Face x Cecilie Bahnsen FW26 collection
"For the fourth chapter of our collaboration with The North Face, couture craftsmanship reaches new heights," Cecilie Bahnsen said. "The bags are covered in cascading floral appliqués, while delicate lace embroidery blooms across the surfaces of the technical down jackets. Inspired by the beauty of nature, the poetry of movement and the art of craftsmanship, this season brings a touch of delicacy and romance to technical outerwear."
The palette is dominated by midnight blue and black, with contrasts in colour, texture and shape. The main new piece is the Nuptse Short Jacket, reworked with nature-inspired motifs made with the Superpose Embroidery technique. The rest of the collection includes:
- Lucia Nuptse Short and Sofia Insulated Crew Neck Top in "TNF Black"
- Meghan Small Crevasse Cinch Bag
- Amalia Waist Pack
- Symone Dotknit Top in "Midnight Sky"
- Martina Verto Alpine Mid
- Angela ThermoBall Mule
"For this capsule collection, Cecilie and her team brought a craft-led vision to every product category, reinterpreting icons such as the Nuptse and the ThermoBall Traction Mules through the feminine sensibility that has always defined the brand's design language", said David Whetstone of The North Face. "This process pushed the boundaries of technical apparel, introducing couture-inspired techniques, three-dimensionality and warmth into pieces designed for high performance."
