The flagship Meta VR Glasses arrive in Spring 2027 for $1,299.99 (around €1,200). Weighing 100 grams, these frames weigh five times less than Meta Quest 3. Engineers shifted the processor, battery, and memory into an external puck connected via optical cable. You clip this puck to your bag or place your puck in your pocket. The device includes a micro-OLED 5K Infinite display with IMAX Enhanced certification, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. You view movies on a virtual screen, manage multi-monitor workspaces, or play games. Color passthrough keeps your physical surroundings visible. You navigate the interface using hand gestures, eye movements, or Meta AI voice commands without handheld controllers.

Meta also expands its partnership with EssilorLuxottica, releasing over 100 models across Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Meta Glasses by year-end. New style options include collaborations with LISA and Kylie Jenner.

For lightweight audio, Ray-Ban Meta Audio eliminates cameras to replace standard earbuds. These 43-gram frames handle phone calls, music streaming, and AI interactions. You get 12 hours of playback, plus 48 hours from the charging case. Available silhouettes include Clubmaster and Burbank.

The updated Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 offers 9 hours of battery life and 3K Ultra HD video capture through a 12-megapixel camera. The frames feature six built-in microphones, a customizable action button, and new Aviator and Zena frame shapes.

Software integration advances through Muse, a personal AI agent running on your glasses. Muse handles tasks autonomously. You request schedule updates, flight prices, replacement parts, workout tracking, or meal logging. Muse also identifies items directly in your field of view.
