The long-standing partnership between Nike and Japanese design house sacai has produced its latest creation: the Zegamadome sneaker. First unveiled during sacai's Spring/Summer 2025 runway presentation, these distinctive shoes will hit shelves next week.
Designer Chitose Abe continues her signature deconstructed approach with this new model, which blends heritage elements from Nike's archive with contemporary tailoring techniques. The upper combines suede, leather, and textile materials in a multilayered construction, while the sole design draws inspiration from Nike's 1989 Lava Dome hiking boot.
The sneaker maintains recognizable features from previous Nike-sacai collaborations, including the double Swoosh logo and extended heel counter. Performance elements include a Vibram outsole paired with Nike's ZoomX cushioning system for comfort and functionality.
Three colorways will be available: a multicolor industrial-inspired option featuring gray and black tones with yellow accents, a versatile off-white version, and a minimalist black design with white sole.
The Nike Zegamadome launches May 9th through the SNKRS app and at select retail locations worldwide.
