This collaboration brings together Pink Lemonade and Sucuk & Bratwurst, two identities with strong visual and cultural codes. What was the first instinct or shared ground that made this partnership feel natural from the start?

The Pink Lemonade: We love collaborating with artists who see reality from a different perspective and create objects that spark conversation. The macaron grinder is exactly that kind of piece.

Sucuk und Bratwurst: Pink macaron... Pink Lemonade. It fits like salt and pepper, it had to be done.

Can an object carry meaning beyond its function, and how do you add that layer while keeping the process intuitive and honest?

The Pink Lemonade: Yes, of course. It always starts with the idea. Function is just one layer, the meaning comes from how the object is conceived. The process stays honest when you stay true to your ideas.

Sucuk und Bratwurst: Making it look so real that no one would even recognize it as a weed grinder during a control... that’s part of the idea too, lol.

When does an object move from function into expression, and what signals tell you it has reached that point?

The Pink Lemonade + Sucuk und Bratwurst: An object moves from function into expression when it starts to communicate something beyond its use. When people look at it and don’t immediately understand what it is, but still want it, that’s when you know!
