1. Introduce Yourself to the Casawi Community: What drives you? What's your artistic vision, and what sets you apart from the crowd?

I’m Jandro, a 26-year-old content creator and stylist from Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. What truly drives me is everything related to dressing, but not in a superficial way: I’m deeply interested in the story behind each garment, the materials it’s made from, and the intention the designer wanted to convey. For me, clothing is much more than a functional object; it’s a form of human communication. Every piece tells a story, reflects an era, a thought, or a feeling, and carries a message that goes beyond aesthetics.

What sets me apart is my curiosity to uncover the “intrahistory” of each piece: how the idea was born, the techniques used, the significance of the materials, and how it relates to the culture and context of the designer. It’s not just about wearing clothes, it’s about honoring the intention behind them and communicating that respect through how I style and present each piece. I currently work with Pompeii, a leading fashion brand, where I continue exploring these ideas and connecting my creative vision with a team that shares my passion for style, design, and storytelling. I believe this approach turns fashion into a conscious and authentic form of art and communication, connecting both with the wearer and those who experience it.

2. City Inspirations: How has your city influenced your artistic path? Share how its streets, culture, and energy have molded your work.

I’m from Barcelona, one of the most inspiring cities in the world for creativity. Being born here is truly a privilege, because you are constantly surrounded by art, culture, and people with a natural creative drive. The city is open, diverse, and without prejudice, welcoming everyone regardless of their background. Growing up in such an environment gave me a solid foundation for thinking creatively, embracing new ideas, and developing a personal aesthetic that values authenticity and self-expression.

However, my deepest sources of inspiration come from Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Girona, in the heart of the Costa Brava. This region has been home to many local artists over the years, and its artistic heritage, combined with the calm rhythm of coastal towns, has always been a huge source of inspiration for me. The sea, the light, and the natural beauty allow me to disconnect from the fast pace of life in the city and truly focus on creativity. In these moments, I can reflect, experiment mentally with ideas, and let my imagination flow freely.

For me, the combination of Barcelona’s dynamic, artistic energy and the serene, inspiring atmosphere of the Costa Brava is invaluable. One teaches me to challenge norms and explore new perspectives, while the other gives me the space to recharge and connect with the creative spirit that has always thrived in this region.

3. Creative Process: What fuels your creativity? Whether it's a ritual, a muse, or a moment of clarity, we're keen to learn.

My creativity is deeply fueled by curiosity and a love for fashion history. Right now, I draw most of my inspiration from vintage fashion catalogs, ranging from the 1940s to the late 1990s. The way clothing was presented in those catalogs was unique, each page carefully crafted to showcase not just the garments, but the mood, the lifestyle, and the story behind them. Long before social media and instant launches, these catalogs were the only way people could discover new collections, and I love exploring that sense of anticipation and storytelling.

I spend hours navigating blogs and websites that collect scans of these old catalogs, immersing myself in their details. From the layout and photography to the styling choices and descriptions, every element sparks ideas and helps me understand how designers intended their clothes to be perceived. These discoveries shape the way I approach styling today, reminding me that every piece has a story to tell, and that the way we present it can communicate meaning, emotion, and intention.

For me, creativity is about connecting the past with the present. It’s about translating the essence and artistry of these old catalogs into something modern, while respecting the original vision. Each time I dive into these archives, I feel a moment of clarity, a spark that guides how I create, combine, and interpret clothing in my work.

4. City Lifestyle and Art: How the places you lived influenced your career and work?

Catalonia is a region rich in culture, with strong traditions that have been preserved and celebrated over generations. This European Mediterranean current, known for being very classic and refined, has had a significant influence on me and the way I perceive style and aesthetics. Growing up surrounded by this cultural heritage, I learned to appreciate subtlety, craftsmanship, and the beauty of timeless design.

Sport is also deeply rooted in Catalan society, and football plays a particularly important role, especially in Barcelona. It’s a city that literally stops when there’s an important Barça match, and I’ve experienced that excitement since I was very young. The passion, community spirit, and visual identity associated with football, the colors, the symbols, the way fans express themselves, have all had a lasting influence on me and inspire many aspects of my creative vision.

For the past three years, I’ve been traveling frequently to Madrid for my work with Pompeii, one of the leading brands in football apparel and collaborations with top teams. Madrid shares a similar football-driven culture to Barcelona, and my experiences there, along with the Pompeii team and the city itself, have intensified my exploration of the aesthetics and history of the early seasons of football. Working with a brand that is so central to football culture has helped me connect my creative practice with the sport’s visual identity, bridging tradition, style, and storytelling in ways that continue to inspire my work.

For me, living and working between Barcelona, the Costa Brava, and Madrid has provided a unique blend of cultural richness, urban energy, calm inspiration, and football heritage, all of which profoundly shape how I approach fashion, styling, and content creation.

5. Latest or Upcoming Projects: Give us a glimpse into your current endeavors and what lies ahead on your creative journey.

Currently, I’m very focused on the styling, a branch of fashion that I’ve been able to explore and grow in, and it’s something I’m truly passionate about. Styling allows me to connect deeply with clothing, understanding each piece, its story, and the intention behind it, and translating that into looks that communicate and inspire.

In addition to styling, I’m also dedicated to content creation, but in my own way, slower and more deliberate than the fast-paced approach that dominates social media today. This allows me to enjoy every post as if it were the first one, giving each piece of content the attention, care, and creativity it deserves.

Looking ahead, I want to continue developing these two areas, but I’m also expanding my work through my blog, The 4th Fit, where I occasionally reflect and write in more detail about my interests, inspirations, and creative ideas. It’s a space where I can dive deeper into the concepts that drive me and share my perspective in a thoughtful and personal way. Combining styling, content creation, and blogging allows me to fully express my vision, blending storytelling, aesthetics, and personal interpretation in ways that feel authentic and intentional.
