Italian racing gear manufacturer Dainese has unveiled a limited edition kit to mark Valentino Rossi's 46th birthday, coinciding with his iconic race number. The collection features a custom racing suit and helmet adorned with gold leaf detailing.
Rossi, who inherited the number 46 from his father Graziano, amassed nine world championships and 115 Grand Prix wins during his career. In 2022, MotoGP permanently retired his number, acknowledging his influence on the sport.
The Soleluna Vale46 Anniversary Kit includes a Dainese Demone GP D-airĀ® 3x kangaroo leather suit and Pista GP RR helmet. Both pieces showcase a black and carbon fiber base with yellow accents and gold leaf elements. While not approved for racing or road use, the kit serves as a collectible display piece.
Production is limited to 46 sets, each accompanied by Rossi's signature and authentication certificate. The first set (01/46) will be donated to charity. The collection will be sold through select Dainese stores and VR46 retail locations, with additional releases planned at museums, racing circuits, and galleries throughout 2025.

The kit adds to Dainese's long-standing partnership with Rossi, which spans most of his racing career. During his active years, Rossi's success helped introduce MotoGP to new audiences worldwide.
Interested buyers can find availability details and pricing through Dainese's retail network. The sets come in custom glass display cases designed for collection purposes.
