HOKA and Marni return with their second collaboration, the Clifton Marni, a reworked version of the Clifton 11. It launches on 12 November 2026 through Marni's own channels, followed on 13 November by HOKA and select retailers worldwide, at $275 (about €235). The shoe comes in three colorways, Black, Orange and White, each with two extra sets of laces.
What changes on the HOKA x Marni Clifton 11
The Clifton is HOKA's everyday running shoe, and its technical base stays the same. An engineered mesh upper sits on a compression-molded EVA foam midsole, with the brand's Smooth MetaRocker geometry for rolling transitions and an Active Foot Frame at the rear that holds the heel.
Marni works on the surface of those parts. Raised 3D silicone lines run in waves from the midfoot to the heel, and the padded collar is lined with a textured knit that contrasts with the smooth mesh. Metal lace dubraes add a hardware detail near the toe, and a custom plaid sockliner sits inside.
Branding is split across the heel on every pair: a red HOKA logo on the outer side and Marni's widely spaced red wordmark on the inner side.
The three colorways
Each version handles contrast in its own way:
- Black: almost fully tonal, from the mesh down to the midsole, with a cream collar lining and red lace loops
- Orange: the loudest of the three, with a bright orange upper on a white midsole wrapped in a metallic silver band, and a black rubber outsole under the forefoot
- White: soft and clean, with a sparkling silver trim along the heel collar
The laces carry Marni's taste for pattern, in speckled, striped two-tone designs: black and white on the Orange pair, red and grey on the Black, and pink and grey on the White.
HOKA and Marni, the second chapter
The first HOKA x Marni release was the Bondi B3LS, a chunky shoe built on the Bondi's cushioned sole, with a mesh upper reinforced by TPU inserts and three interchangeable lace sets. It came in red, beige, blue and brown at €395 and was launched with a sensory event at Villa Clea in Milan, with foam furniture by design studio Finemateria.
The Clifton Marni keeps the same idea of personalization through laces, but moves to a lighter, more everyday trainer and a lower price. It also arrives during a new phase for the Milan house, which presented the debut collection of creative director Meryll Rogge earlier this year.
